One of the problems is that using the jet boats for skiing in the closed waters areas or lakes which will leave a film of unburned fuel and lubricants on the surface. For example, driving a motorboat for one hour makes pollution as much as driving 1300 Km by car (Rick). Another problem is the dumped waste in the rivers and oceans because of the growing population which will affect the animals and human being (Fadhley). For example, most of the dumped wastes are plastics which are not recyclable or bio-degradable. Third problem is the oil spills problem which has taken place in the oceans due to the ships oil spills and the industrial waste. For example, the oil spills is the main reason causing the animals becoming endangered (Meadows).
Although there are problems, also there are solutions for those problems. First, in the USA, the government phased tight emission standards for the motorboats to reduce the engines emissions like CO2, unburned fuels and lubricants (Sorum). To reduce dumped waste, another solution to control the waste is by the people them self by eliminating the use of the unnecessary disposal plastics. The oil spill is a major issue in marine pollution. One of its solutions is to use the booms all around the oil spills as a temporary solution (DAVIS).
In conclusion, the global warming is rising and it is affecting the nature around us. The marine life is facing the huge change of global warming affect. However, many other reasons are affecting the marine life nature as well. In point of view, the marine life is as important as the wild life. So eliminating the danger sources of marine pollution is highly needed. In addition to that, governments should act immediately to solve this issue.
